Applefest - September 21 - 23
Join in Markam Museum's salute to the wonderful apple! The museum operates its own apple cider mills and offers samples to visitors. Witness the operation of the on-premises sawmill and visit historic buildings in this 25-acre village. A variety of hands-on activities for children of all ages as well as live entertainment, carousel, boat, train and wagon rides.

Kleinburg Binder Twine Festival
- September 8
Celebrating 40 years, the Binder Twine Festival, began in the late 1800's when farmers came to the community to buy twine to bind their sheaves of wheat at harvest time. Townspeople offered food and entertainment to the visiting farmers and an annual celebration was born. An exciting day filled with unique crafts, great entertainment, OldeTyme activities and the Queen Contest where 'young ladies' call a hog, flip pancakes, hammer nails, and even milk a cow. www.kleinburgvillage.com

ORGANIC Thanksgiving Harvest Dinners - October 7 & 8
Bring the entire family to relish the glorious colours of fall and take part in a magnificent evening that begins with a guided walk through the Kortright Centre for Conservations' forest.  After your hike, your appetite will surely be satisfied when you experience the delicious fall themed 100 % ORGANIC harvest dinner. Following dessert, enjoy a warm hug from a cup of hot apple cinnamon cider by a roaring bonfire.  
Adults are $49 plus taxes and children under 12, are $29 plus taxes.  Reservations are required.
