The tranquil setting of the Village with its beautiful grounds, heritage homes and gardens and farm animals make Black Creek Pioneer Village the perfect place in Toronto to break out of the modern world and experience history. Villagers and artisans in period dress welcome visitors to this historical 19th century village with over 40 authentic homes, shops and buildings. Open May 1 to December 31 (closed Christmas and Boxing Day). Amenities include a restaurant; soup & sandwiches available in the Visitors' Centre Gift Shop.
